Move your mouse off the edge of one screen and it carries on onto the next computer. Your keyboard follows, and so do your clipboard and files. Windows and Linux, side by side.
Download free → How it worksA normal installer on Windows, one command on Linux. Juska lives quietly in your tray.
Click Generate on one computer and type the same words on the others. They find each other on your network by themselves.
Arrange your computers on a simple grid to match your desk. Set it up on any one of them, and the others follow.
Left, right, above or below, in a grid of up to sixteen computers. Windows and Linux in any combination.
Computers connect directly over encrypted TLS 1.3 and only trust each other. Other people on the same Wi-Fi can't join in.
Arrange your computers in the Layout window on any one of them. The others pick the layout up by themselves, and so does a Pro licence.
Press Esc three times to bring your pointer home. If a computer sleeps, locks or disconnects, control comes straight back to you.
Built on Clickboard, so copy and paste text, images and files between computers too.
Works on modern Linux desktops running Wayland as well as X11. Mac support is next.
Choose the computer whose keyboard and mouse you use. It drives the others; they need no keyboard or mouse of their own. Change it any time in Layout.
Windows hides the pointer on computers that have no mouse attached. If a Windows computer in your layout has no mouse of its own, leave any cheap USB mouse plugged in.
Windows protects its lock screen and "Do you want to allow…" prompts from being controlled remotely. Juska respects that: control comes straight back to your main computer, and you answer the prompt there.
Windows also keeps ordinary programs out of apps running as administrator. If you need Juska to control those, tick the administrator windows option when you install. It's off by default.
Juska works on both. On Wayland, a machine can be the main computer on GNOME 45 or newer, and the desktop asks your permission the first time. KDE Plasma 6.1 or newer should work the same way.
The installers open Juska's ports (TCP 47810 and UDP 47812) on private networks only. Your computers talk directly to each other, never through our servers.
Pay once, keep it for life. No subscriptions.
Windows may show a warning, as it does for any new program: click More info, then Run anyway. A Microsoft Store version is on its way.
Blocked with no way past? That is Windows 11's Smart App Control, which only allows apps signed by Microsoft or a certificate. Until the Store version arrives, turn it off in Windows Security, under App & browser control, Smart App Control settings. Leave it off afterwards, as it checks Juska each time it starts.
curl -fsSL https://github.com/wallisoft/juska-releases/releases/latest/download/install.sh | bash
Installs into your home folder. It asks for your password only to add two small system libraries and open Juska's ports if your firewall is on.
